Network outage DC1 Monday 7th December 2020 17:21:00


We're experiencing a network outage in DC1, and we are currently investigating the cause

The switch upgrade was done successfully and so far the network has been stable. We keep monitoring the situation closely.

Our vendor advised to apply a patch to the switch firmware as a next step. We are planning to install this in an emergency maintenance this night starting at 04:00 CET AM to minimise disruption. Estimated downtime will be around 10-20 minutes.

All failed switches are back up online and we're currently verifying if the situation is stable again.

Part of the network is recovered, while still some switches are unreachable. We are working to recover those as well.

It seems that some switch nodes are rebooting unexpectedly. Our engineers are currently on site to investigate further.
